Parent Community Networking Coordinator (PCNC)
Hello Parents!
YOU, the parent, are the most important determining factor of your child's success. And a huge part of my job at Kalaheo High is COMMUNICATING with you. I'm part-time but reachable by email anytime.
The State of Hawaii has been wise in putting one PCNC at every public school, from elementary to high school. We are the continuous thread of parent involvement at each school and our efforts extend into the community. (If you look at our statistics, we generate more in donations and volunteer hours than we are paid.)
If you are moving here from out of state and have questions, email me.
I will do my best to answer you, or find the answers.
PLEASE READ the PTSA monthly newsletter; it is generated by teachers and staff. I put it together and mail it to the parents of our 860 students each month. It is available online in a pdf file. This newsletter holds the most pertinent info of the month for parents.
